I am new to the industry, but I have a strong
desire to offer the best service possible to my
clients. I signed up for the IICRC certification
class in Fabric and Upholstery in Atlanta back
in September, but they refunded me because
only 3 people signed up and they needed 12
to break even so they had to cancel the class.
Unfortunately, there are no more Fabric and
Upholstery classes that I can afford right now
anywhere near Birmingham, Alabama.
One reason I started my business is to right the
wrongs of those that give the industry a black
eye. So I definitely don’t want to be the guy that
makes matters worse. Hence this post.

Emeraldclean - I would clean with Haitian
cotton cleaner using hand bonnet for agitation.
HWE with decent heat using a jetless ( low
moisture) uph tool such as the SS uph pro.
Neutral shampoo would work well too!
I like Haitian shampoo for these. Looks like a
blend of cotton and synthetic.
Test an inconspicuous area with chosen cleaner (
back of seat cushion were zipper is ) . On test
apply cleaner liberally and rinse well with tool.
Allow 20 mins for test.
