IT Fundamentals
Location: Sonia Gutierrez Campus
Through this five-month program, students learn how to identify and explain
computer components, basic software installation, digital literacy, and more. The goal is to
have students pass the CompTIA IT Fundamental certification. This class is also a
preparatory class for those wishing to enroll in the Computer Support Specialist Training
program.
Requirements:
- Eligible for ESL 8 or higher
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advising session with the Technology Academy Director or designee
- Passing the Computer Literacy assessment test with 70% or higher
