Tipton Merchants Prepare for Christmas Kick-Off
October 22, 2013 – Tipton merchants are preparing to open their doors Sunday, November 3 for the Annual Christmas Kick-Off.
This lead up to the holiday shopping season has become a tradition in Tipton, giving
people from Cedar County and surrounding areas a head start on finding great deals a
few weeks ahead of the customary Christmas buying season. Bargain hunters can save
on a wide array of merchandise, everything from gifts to clothing and furniture. Also,
Tipton has many dining options available where shoppers can take a break and fuel up
during the afternoon.
“By shopping locally, you help preserve our community's character while finding unique
gifts for the people on your holiday gift giving list” said Tipton Economic Development
Director Abby Kisling. “Shopping local directs more dollars into our economy, saves consumers
money and gives shoppers a more personalized experience. Over the long-term, everyone
benefits.”
Tipton’s Annual Christmas Kickoff hours are 12-4 PM.
