Everywhere you look, there’s “The Bunny” with his/her basket of eggs! In the church, the image of the egg as an Easter symbol is representative of new life. A cracked shell is representative of the empty tomb. Resurrection is all about new life! For those who have faithfully travelled our “Lighter Lenten” path, thank you for accompanying one another on the journey. The prayer is that you’ve found some new, deeper places in your own faith and those places will accompany you into all the time ahead. The Lenten journey, when taken seriously or lightly, is quirky, twisted, challenging, but yet, filled with grace. We know where the path leads, and we await the day when the Alleluias return! Thank you, kids, for your energy with our Heifer International projects throughout the year. Our final goal is to reach $500 to buy a cow by Easter. This purchase will be a lifegiving gift for a family in need. Thank you to our 8th grade confirmands who have been participating in the Lenten candle liturgy on Sunday mornings, and who have faithfully been travelling to midweek Lenten services. The mid-week Lenten meal and service at St. John’s was seasoned with hospitality as we dined, shared fellowship, and worshipped together. Thank you to ALL who were involved! This improvement will help us serve more efficiently. The Community Foundation was generous in granting money to proje
