Traffic levels were deemed more unacceptable this wave, and ratings for specific traffic and
road issues declined. Problems included:
– Maintenance of medians/right‐of‐ways (nearing 60%, currently at 61%)
– Traffic management in entertainment district and during peak hours
– Overall condition of roads, streets, and sidewalks
– Quality and speed of road repairs
The City received relatively low ratings (<60% satisfaction) in the following areas, which indicate
potential areas for improvement.
– A great place to work/operate a business
– “Going green” efforts
– A great place to retire
– Zoning services
– Consistent answers and information provided by various city departments/employees
– Awareness of the Action Center
– Awareness of Housing Authority resources
– Code enforcement
General things to watch, same as last year (continuous):
– Building permits (declined from last year)
– Open records request (declined from last year)
New things to watch, because of ratings dropped below 60% this wave:
