Stop by for details and to sign up. Every Thursday at 11 am during the summer reading program, the library will host special performers for children of all ages. Toddler Storytime Wednesdays, June 19 - July 31, 10:15am (ages 2 and younger) Enjoy simple stories, fingerplays, and movement activities. Followed by a 15-minute playtime. Space is limited. Pre-School Storytime Wednesdays, June 19 - July 31, 11:15am (ages 3 and older) Different themed stories will be introduced each week along with finger plays, songs, and movement activities. Followed by a 15-minute playtime. Space is limited. Reading is Fun! Tuesdays, June 18 – July 23, 3:30pm – 4:30pm Beginning readers can practice fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension by reading a good book to teen volunteers. Friday Morning Stories Fridays, June 21 - August 2*, 11am Enjoy stories every Friday at the library. Every other week we will be treated t performances by high school volunteers from the National Charity League who will spread a little sunshine by reading and playacting stories to children and families. (*No Storytime on July 12) TEENS Teen Volunteer Opportunities - 13 yrs + Summer reading volunteers are needed. Interested teens should speak with Youth Services Librarian Serene Salgado for details. Participants must complete a volunteer application and attend one Teen Volunteer Training session. ADULT Morning Book Group - 1st Thursday, 10:30am Selections available at the front desk.
