Street Art
Street art is frowned upon despite being just art. This is because it affects the state by damaging public property, so it is presented to society in a negative way on purpose.
Street art generally consists of graffiti painting and drawing. It can be found on big plain walls, subways and virtually on any wall of the city.
Doing street art is a crime and there are different kinds of punishments. Until last July, you had to pay a fine for the damage or serve some time in jail. But recently, the state has implemented an “anti-graffiti” law, which makes the artist do some community work, such as cleaning away their own graffiti.
Opinions about graffiti vary from person to person, some people don’t like to have their walls painted, and some other people think it´s just art and you can do anything you want about it. Personally we think street art is just art and it shouldn’t be
