If you weren’t playing music, what would you be doing
for a living? I had lots of side jobs in the old days, but i
think selling jumping beans was the most rewarding. If i
could do anything else maybe own a food truck and be a
short order cook.
If you could play one venue in the world, what would it
be and why? Wow that a tough question ,maybe the Ryman
Auditorium just for the sake of tradition. I'd also like to play
the Paradisio in Amsterdam, I teched for a band there one
night and the acoustics were amazing.

What do you think of the Top 40
songwriters today? Do they stack up to
the songs of old? Absolutely not! Most hits
are written by a panel of experts these days
and they don't have the depth that their
predecessors did. Its all about marketing as
far as the top 40 stuff goes and they don't
want to rock the boat. I'll take Leadbelly over
Bruno Mars anyday. I sound like an old man
waving his cane at the neighbors now.
If the world was about to end, what song would
you play as your final goodbye?
You are my Sunshine.
