How did the songwriter bill become your calling? And what drew
you to things like Outlaw Country and Old School Rockabilly?
Osmosis as far as what I'm drawn to. I really shy away from the
semantics and go with whats real to me . I was raised in the Deep
South so blues and country where part of the landscape in the 60's
and 70's when i was the most impressionable. I think songwriting was
a byproduct of being self taught. it seemed easier to me to write a
song rather than to learn one.
What do you think is different about playing New England venues
compared to other places you play regularly? Music lovers are all
the same everywhere you go and have more in common than one
would suspect.I mean that in a good way of course. I do think folks in
the Northeast have a deep appreciation
