Cider: Any new projects? nickelPunk: I’m working as Guest Composer on Starr Mazer, a KickStarter game between Imagos and TOODX. It’s a side scrolling shoot ‘em up and point and click adventure. Alex Mauer is doing the soundtrack and a bunch of us are doing guest tracks. I’m doing one song for that. The other is a new album with a couple other artists involved. Bridging the gap between my prior electro roots to contemporary EDM sound. I’ll be able to use my experience with working with new artists. Cider: So any word on a name or drop date? nickelPunk: Professor is the new album. No date to work with a dream team like this to make something beautiful. Cider: Can you tell us anything about Professor? nickelPunk: So the concept, well a hint, is imag- ine if what you thought made you happy did not and it was actually killing you? Cider: How did you come up with the concept? nickelPunk: A mix of experiences, friends I’ve had and have, and what we’re going through as a generation. Not much else I can say, still negotiating with a few people. We’re in a state of flux.
