Disciple Development Coaching

"Taste & See” Events in Cape Girardeau, St. Louis, Springfield, & Lee’s Summit

This Taste and See Event is an opportunity for you to understand, learn, see,

and experience Disciple Development Coaching. Participants will discover tools

for moving ahead in their own faith journeys while learning skills to facilitate

growth in others. In addition, this Taste and See Event will challenge participants to consider becoming trained as Disciple Development Coaches.

A Certified Disciple Development Coach can:

• Teach others in their congregation to coach one another

• Begin a Disciple Development Movement in the congregation

This Disciple Development Coaching Taste and See Event includes:

• Consideration of the need for robust Christian formation in the church

earning the Disciple Development Coaching Model with its Six Steps

• An opportunity to see a model Disciple Development Coaching session

• An opportunity to practice a small portion of the Disciple Development

Coaching Conversation Model

• Learning about the practice of Disciple Development Coaching in a local

congregation

• Description of the training and certification process

Each participant will receive a copy of Disciple Development Coaching: Christian Formation for the Twenty-First Century by Mark

Tidsworth and Ircel Harrison.

Presenter: Ircel Harrison, coaching coordinator

for Pinnacle Leadership Associates and

supplemental faculty in Ministry Praxis at

Central Baptist Theological Seminary.

Fee: $15, includes book and lunch (paid at the

Schedule: Each Taste and See Event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each

event is the same, so you need only attend the one most convenient for you. The

events will be held at the following locations:

• Monday, April 13 in Cape Girardeau, MO

• Tuesday, April 14 in St. Louis, MO

• Thursday, April 16 in Lee’s Summit, MO
