Community High School has recently started construction on their school that will completely remodel it, causing a lot of anticipation in the students and staff.
The teachers seem to be excited about the remodel. “I think when the students see the new school they will be more interested in coming to school,” said science teacher Emily Johnson.
Even the students are exhilarated about the rebuilding. Junior Brett Beckstead said, “I feel it will make classes flow better, be less crowded, and be more organized.”
The new school no doubt will cost a lot of state-allocated money, but how does everyone in the community feel about the use of the money? Math para Audra Adams had this to say about how people might react the use of large amount of money. “People are always going to be mad when we spend large amounts of money but I hope they see it as remodeling a school and not building a new one. This is done for the benefit of the students, and not of vanity.”
So it appears that everyone is in agreement that this is a good thing for Community, but what will it actually do for the school?
