metal and materials I can’t even name. Others put
on a dance performances, moving like ribbons in
the wind. It was very interesting to see, a shift of
culture had me immerse into the history and town.

alive celebrating Merlin as well as other charac-
ters from Arthurian Legend. The ambiance rec-
reates a flavour of medieval Carmarthen. You

cal produce. Food sellers weaved through the mass
of onlookers and the aroma of their wares perfumed
the air. Adding to the excitement were children’s craft
workshops, treasure hunts as well as lectures on Mer-
lin’s legacy. The festival was a place of unrestrained
joy; for this was the festival to welcome the spring.
dren would reach up to hold their hands and their
smiles shone through their elaborate faces. Mag-
ic shows and street performers with men in cos-
tumes lits up the magical spring sunny day. Sculp-
ture trail showcased medieval knights and heroes.
