Poppy seed roll is a mass
wrapped in a dough. It is a
typical Christmas dish in
Polish culture. Poppy seed
mass infuses & soaks
overnight. Then boil it for a
few minutes until it’s soft.
You can add nuts, rainsins
and orange peels to the mass.
Then you bake it with a
dough after wrapping. On the
top there is usually some
icing.
