Healthy hot weather sweets!

-Kylie Jacobs

Summer is here... and most of you are probably experiencing some major sun! I know that feeling when you want to stick your face in the freezer and you look up to see that big carton of Butterfinger Ice cream! What if I told you, you could eat some yummy frozen treats and still be healthy! I know it is hard to stay healthy when you see all your friends posting pictures on Instagram with giant cups of froyo. You may not think it is necessary to put healthy food into your body but there are numerous benefits to doing so. When you eat food that isn’t good for you such as pizza, and ice cream ;) it will make you less energized. This will cause your body to work slower and make your daily tasks much harder. By cutting out the unhealthy food in your diet you will be helping your body and pleasing the Lord! :) 1 Cor. 6:19 “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,” God calls us to treat our bodies like temples. He did create them after all! So here are some easy healthy summer frozen treats you can make in your very own kitchen!
