MELISSA LESHEM
Marketing and Public Relations Manager at INK Entertainment
After building her career and connections in America and
having a solid understanding of the hospitality industry,
Melissa could no longer resist the call home, and returned to her hometown, Toronto. Soon after her arrival
home, Melissa began to work with INK, one of Toronto’s
top hospitality and entertainment companies. -Every day
that I contribute to the growing hospitality and social
culture of Toronto through INK is a breakthrough for
me, I am privileged to be part of making Toronto a world
class city.- says Melissa.
Melissa currently contributes to the brand development
and launch of INK’s hotel, and residence brand - Bisha.
Melissa’s wonderful personality and strong work ethics
have certainly opened the doors to success. -Success to
me is the ability to wake up every morning and feel that
you are part of something that is bigger than yourself. It
Is the ability to choose what you do, who you work with,
and how you want your voice to be heard. The ability to
go sleep at night and feel a sense of pride and satisfactionsays Melissa.
No matter how high the success, big the brand, or grand
the celebrity, Melissa remains down to earth and credits
her mother and her supportive sisters for every goal
achieved. -My family is the strongest pillar of strength,
love and inspiration I have- says Melissa.
Beauty Tip -Moisturize in the morning. Champagne at
night!
Favorite Song at the Moment- I Love the sexy beat of
“Paris” by Scratch Massive, on the Hotel Costes 15
Album. It’s the best track to put on when you’re getting
dolled up for a night on the town.

After graduating from university in Canada, Melissa’s
need for adventure made her realize that travelling was
the next step to pursue her dreams. Finding her way
south of the border and unexpectedly thrown into the
hospitality business in New York working with some
of Manhattan’s top venues made Melissa realize that
sometimes school is not what brings success to the table.
Eventually, Melissa ended up in Miami and worked
programming events, and collaborating alongside luxury
brands and partners.
