Christon “The Truth” Jones possesses many outstanding qualities. He’s a driven, free- thinker who achieves any goal that he sets. I had the chance to interview him, the following is what we discussed. I was curious about “The Truth” because I was shocked at how much he’s accomplished for his age. Firstly, I asked him about some past projects that he had worked on. He replied,”I wrote my first book when I was eight years old”. “Where did your interest in writing come from?”, I questioned. “I was being bullied by the football team and I expressed myself through literature, so I wrote the book”, He explained. “My mother wanted me to publish what I wrote, 500 copies were made in 3-4 months”,He finished.
I wondered what it was like to sell his first book. “The Truth” described the memory by saying, “I sold my first book at my local barbershop. I had asked my mother for money for my haircut and she handed me my book instead. So I had to sell my book in order to get the money. I was nervous because I never sold anything before". “That must have been nerve- racking!”, I exclaimed. “How did you overcome your fear?”,I asked.“Well, I was in my own head. I wondered if anyone was going to buy my book. But I acted and stopped over-thinking. It was as simple as opening my mouth and asking, “Would you like to buy my book?”.
