Initially, it was a chore but now I really like it. So far, I have appeared in one theater production, and 4 independent film, projects, 2 TV shows, and one faith based motion picture movie.
When I am not in front of the camera, I work behind the camera on various film sets as an assistant to the Director of Photography. I have to admit, this is a fun and really cool job. I also take head shot photos for independent artists. Every Saturday, I intern at VOX Media Cafe, a media company designed specifically for young adults.
It’s kind of like the ‘Buzz Feed” of Atlanta. There I conduct interviews as a street journalist, edit, write columns, take professional photos and meet other big news and media professionals through the company. My short term goal is to attend a 4-year University that specializes in Film/Graphics and Multimedia.
I believe I am finally coming into my own and making everyone proud. I am glad I woke up earlier in my youth and chose a better lifestyle versus the negative possibly destructive path. I am a firm believer that you are never too young to make a huge impact in the lives of others.
