As a child, I was not fortunate to
grow up with an actual father
in my life, but I did have many
father figures in my childhood
to date. I did get into a lot of
trouble when I first moved to Georgia. I was always called
the weird kid in class and never really made any friends in my childhood. I guess you could use
the word ‘misunderstood’ to
describe my very early youth.
As I got older, I gained more
quality friendships.
My positive associations
made me feel more alive.
I am fortunate that my now, social circle stress making good grades and going to a Great College.
To start off my name is Carlos but many call me CJ. I am 17 years old. I am a Young Professional who specializes in Acting, Photography, and Film making. I attend Newton County High school where I am active in Basketball and Beta Club. I also lead a Youth volunteer group entitled, “Young, Woke and Leading” where we go out and help those in the Community and speak to other youth.
I was born in Miami, Fl. I relocated to Atlanta, GA at the tender age of 5. I have three younger siblings, 3 brothers and one sister, who all live back home in Florida. I love them dearly and take pride in being the big brother.
MY LIFE
I realized that me wanting to ‘fit in' would have been a destructive path if I didn’t make a change…so, I did! My mother played a big part in my maturing and realizing, as she always told me, “Cj you are a leader, not a follower.”
My Acting Career began at the age of 15. It really happened by accident. My mother is an actor and she would always bring me with her on movie sets. I would, by default, learn and watch her and her colleagues and picked up a few pointers. My mom would not allow me to work a normal job for money, so I would just do little acting gigs here and there for checks here and there.
