VOICE OF CSU
The 3rd “Voice of CSU” was making a big splash among Chinese student population in March, 2016. The preliminary contest was on March 19. We got 15 participants and finally selected TOP 10 for the final.
The 3rd Voice of CSU Final was held on March 26 at the theatre in Lory Student Center. Over 200 students came to the event. CSSA invited 7 people as judges. They were Shelley Luo, Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Colorado State University; Ying Cheng, China Programs Coordinator; Philp Turk, Associate Professor of Statistics; President of CSSA – CU Boulder; President of CSSA – University of Denver; President of CSSA- CU-Denver and former President of CSSA –CSU. Our special guest Joanna, editor of Xinhua Newspaper wrote a report and published on Xinhua Newspaper.
CSSA used Wechat to interact with audience. People can make live comments and vote for their favorite participants. It was a creative and great way to communicate among all the audience and the participants. After two rounds of exciting competition, Tianming Wang (Guizhou University) won the first place. Tengyu Yang (Hunan University) won the second place and Hao Lu won the third place.
第三届"CSU好声音" 在中国学生中引起了不小的轰动。CSU好声音的初赛于3月19日进行，一共有15位选手参加了比赛，最终选出了10位选手进入决赛。
第三届CSU好声音的决赛于3月26日在Lory Student Center的剧场举行。有200多名学生前来观看了比赛。中国学生会邀请了7位评为为选手评分。他们是科罗拉多州立大学孔子学院中方院长罗雪梅、中国项目协调员程瑛、统计系副教授Philp Turk、CU- Boulder的学生会主席、丹佛大学学生会主席、CU-Denver学生会主席以及CSU前学生会主席。另外，还邀请了当地华人报纸- 新华报的记者编辑Joanna，并为本次活动做了报道。
此次主办方中国学生会用微信平台和观众互动。观众可以实时地对现场的表演进行评论，并为他们喜欢支持的选手进行投票。这是一个非常有创意方式来增进选手与台下观众的互动和交流。在两轮激烈的比赛后，来自贵州大学2+2项目的王天铭同学获得冠军；湖南大学2+2项目的杨宇腾同学获得亚军；自然环境保护的研究生鲁昊获得季军。
