MID-AUTUMN CELEBRATION
On Sunday, September 18th, the Confucius Institute collaborated with the Chinese Student Association sharing a variety of Chinese dishes and moon cakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. This celebration is one of the most important Chinese festivals next to Spring Festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival takes place on the 15th day of the Eighth month of the lunar calendar each year, which is generally around mid-September. The celebration was held at the International House and attracted several hundred participants from CSU and the local community.
9月18日，美国科罗拉多州立大学孔子学院携手中国学生学者联合会共同举办了中秋暨孔院日庆典活动。现场活动以书法、音乐、特色服装、展板、象棋、有奖竞猜灯谜等方式展示了中秋传统民俗，各国友人欢聚一堂，玩游戏、写书法、猜灯谜、学汉语，以温馨喜悦的方式体验中国的传统佳节。孔院精心准备的月饼和中国菜更是让大家赞不绝口。吸引了600多参与者。
