PLAYGROUPS
for parishioners and friends
Playgroups are a perfect place to meet other St. James’ parents. Some active parishioners are still great
friends with people they met in playgroup eight, 10 and 12 years ago! Playgroups are adult/child and open
to all who are interested. A “caregiver group” is offered for working parents, but caregivers are welcome at
all playgroups whenever it is impossible for moms or dads to accompany their child. If you must come early
or leave late, please do! We would love to have you.

Helping Hands Sundays
Sept. 10 · Oct. 8 · Nov. 26 · Jan. 14
Once a month, our Church School students get together to put what they’re learning on Sunday mornings
into action, reaching out to our neighbors in service. Make meals or desserts for our Overnight Shelter Min-
istry guests, assemble toiletry gifts for the guests of our meals programs, and more.
Thanksgiving Eve Day of Service
Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Get in the spirit of giving back before our Thanksgiving Eve Eucharist! Families and friends work on a variety
of service projects like bundling winter gear for the homeless, making Thanksgiving pies for a women’s shel-
ter, creating care packages for boarding school students, or making cards for guests of our meal programs.
