Renee Zellweger “Judy” A prolifi c actress, Zellweger puts in a great performance, as she usually does, in this movie about legendary singer and actress Judy Garland. Scarlett Johansson “Marriage Story” She is nominated for both Supporting Actress (“Jojo Rabbit”) and this category; she’s bound to win one of them. Best Supporting Actor Tom Hanks, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” Playing the beloved “Mr. Rog- ers,” Tom Hanks replicates the charm that Rogers walked around with. Al Pacino “The Irishman” Pacino has had a very suc- cessful acting career, but his performance as Jimmy Hoffa was one of his best. Best Supporting Actress Scarlett Johansson, “Jojo Rabbit” One of two nomin- ations for Johansson (right), who shows her ability to play different characters in different movies. Best Actress Best Animated Movie “Toy Story 4” “Toy Story” is probably the best animated movie series ever, and this is another se- quel that didn’t miss a beat. P AGE 3 Bong Joon-ho, “Parasite” Todd Phillips “Joker” Not many people thought a movie about Batman’s worst enemy would be successful, but Phillips pulled it off. Joaquin Phoenix, “Joker” Quentin Tarantino, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” Tarantino’s ninth fi lm has fol- lowed his trend of producing a movie that is up for “Best Picture.” Renee Zellweger, “Judy” Best Actor “Ford v. Ferrari” The racing scenes alone should guarantee the award for this fi lm. Brad Pitt, “Once Upon a Time ...” Best Director “The Irishman” A great movie made by one of the best directors of all time, if not the best, Martin Scorsese.
