Another Intense Season of IM Football
By Jack Farrar
Chieftain Staff
IM football is back and in
full swing. Teams are ready
to prove that their hard work
in the offseason has paid off.
In particular, the Varsity
division seems to be loaded
with talent this year. Mr.
Kuschel says the favorite to
win is the Wild Waskes, who
are looking to “go on the
field and match the tenacity
that our name represents,”
according to Senior Karl
Kauffmann.
The Aaron Hernandez
Pistol Offense (AHPO) is
another strong team in the
Varisty division. Team Captain Reyn Eichenlaub says
they are looking to “shoot up
the competition.”
The final Senior team,
Team Bye, also has some

The Junior teams have
proven themselves to be

strong contenders to win
the Varsity division for this
season, as AHPO came out as
the only Senior team to win
in Week One.
The Hounds, led by Ben
Kurnick and Will Duncan,
pulled off an upset over the
Wild Waskes, which sent a
shock through the Waskes’
fan base. In addition, The
Barons, with Nate Feldman as their Captain, beat
Team Bye in the first week.
The Delfigulos is another
solid Junior team. As Nolan
Geraghty says, “The spirit of
Mark Delfigulo will carry our
team.”
With many skilled Juniors and Seniors, the 2015
IM Varsity football league
is shaping up to be a tight
race and should have some
exhilarating finishes.
