Another Intense Season of IM Football By Jack Farrar Chieftain Staff IM football is back and in full swing. Teams are ready to prove that their hard work in the offseason has paid off. In particular, the Varsity division seems to be loaded with talent this year. Mr. Kuschel says the favorite to win is the Wild Waskes, who are looking to “go on the field and match the tenacity that our name represents,” according to Senior Karl Kauffmann. The Aaron Hernandez Pistol Offense (AHPO) is another strong team in the Varisty division. The Hounds, led by Ben Kurnick and Will Duncan, pulled off an upset over the Wild Waskes, which sent a shock through the Waskes’ fan base. In addition, The Barons, with Nate Feldman as their Captain, beat Team Bye in the first week. The Delfigulos is another solid Junior team. As Nolan Geraghty says, “The spirit of Mark Delfigulo will carry our team.” With many skilled Juniors and Seniors, the 2015 IM Varsity football league is shaping up to be a tight race and should have some exhilarating finishes.
