Many songs give an audiosensory experience that can be described as both tranquil and psychedelic . “ The Departed ” Genre : Crime drama Director : Martin Scorsese Stars : Matt Damon , Leonardo DiCaprio , Jack Nicholson An undercover cop ( DiCaprio ) and a mole ( Damon ) in the police attempt to identify each other while infiltrating an Irish gang in South Boston . Rating : 9 / 10 flow patterns . It doesn ’ t take much focus or in-depth analysis to listen to this album , due to its extremely broad themes . It has a heavy focus on production value , making up for a lack of creativity and lyricism with great rhythm . Strongest tracks : “ Long Time ( Intro ),” “ RIP ,” “ Shoota ” Rating : 7 / 10

“ Big Fish Theory ” ( Vince Staples ) Although only 35 minutes , Staples ’ 2017 album is extremely interesting and intense . He focuses on bass lines and drums while masterfully mixing in synths in order to give this album an almost futuristic effect .
