I got elbowed in the head by Mr. Ciaravino during last year’s Field Day. I did get sent to the hospital with a big goose egg on the forehead. No blood was drawn, so it was all good. Vector “Despicible Me” What is your favorite part about Brother Rice? The faith piece is huge. I truly believe God sent me here for a reason. Austin Mowry Senior Twitter Poll: What is your favorite Field Day event? a. Dodgeball Seniors or Freshmen, and why? I love my Seniors, but there is some- thing really special about Freshmen. It is a very interesting year in high school, it’s kind of like deer in headlights. It’s really cool to see how Freshmen evolve over the years. b. Mighty Mouse c. Super Smash Bros If your red Jeep was taken away, what would you drive? I would drive a different color Jeep. It would have to be a Wrangler. I’m a Wrangler rider for life. I’m going to be 90 years old riding that Wrangler. d. Other Vote here Other than Shih Tzu, what is your favorite dog? Any dog is a friend of mine. I have a special place in my heart for Shelties. I’ve lived in Michigan most of my life, but I went to high school in Florida. What is your favorite teaching experience? I bike in to work every day; I missed one day last year. I also started a nonprofi t organization this past year with some partners (one of them is Rice grad Augie Engelhart ’08) to give free bikes to the kids of Detroit. We are collect- ing gently used bikes at Henry Ford Medical Centers on Saturday, Oct. 13.
