Happy New Year
Firstly , Happy New Year to you all and welcome to 2017 , which as we all know by now is a very special year for Chichester Yacht Club .
Yes 2017 is our 50th anniversary year and we are planning many surprises throughout the year . So do join us in our celebrations . We hope you like the new Diary format for the Club Programme for 2017 . All the events have now been loaded onto the Club website calendar which can also be easily downloaded into your Google Calendar from the website .
Restaurant Refurbishment
Our external events business performed well in 2016 , with much support and hard work by Tom and his team . This means that we can use the extra profits generated to sponsor a new project to refurbish the restaurant to help improve our member dining experience . Planning is at an advanced stage , so more

Improved Bar Area
Following feedback from members we have increased the dining requirements for members and their dogs in the bar area . In addition , we have improved the atmosphere within the bar by introducing dimmable lighting and some standing lamps .
Socials Coming Up
We have the first of our new Quiz evenings coming up in January so keep tuned to the communications for more details . Come along and join us , or better still bring a team with you .
2017 Subscriptions Reminder
You should all have received your reminder for 2017 subscription payments . We are holding the subscriptions to the 2016 fees . If you are not paying by Direct Debit then remember if you pay before 15th January , you will be entitled to an Early-Bird discount so please contact the Office with your payment .
