Staff news:
After 14 years working at the Club, and more
recently as our Front of House Supervisor,
Jenny Nice will be leaving us in December to
start work at a local care home. Her last day is
on December 8th. I am sure you will join us in
wishing her the very best and thank her for her
many years of service.
Jacqui Griffiths is gradually taking over from
Jenny: you may have seen her around the
Club already or maybe in the Marina, where
she lives with her partner on her beautiful 43ft
sailing Dutch barge.
Also new to the team is our new Chef de
Partie, Ashley Franks. Ashley comes to us
from West Dean College. Prior to this, he
worked at Crouchers and the Millstream Hotel.
Ashley enjoys spending his spare time with his
children and has already settled in.
After five months working with a chef down,
Andy has got a full team again, just in time for
the Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve.
We are currently putting the final touch to our
2018 Programme and will be sending those out
around the 3rd week in December.
There will be a table in the corridor by the
office where you will be able to leave any
Christmas cards destined for other members.
