Hi Manu and team.
Isn't it strange how we run our busy lives and often don't have time to sit back and appreciate
what we have, including those around us.
Watching the WhatsApp chats and other communication between members and looking back at
photos taken over the last few years, makes me realise what a lovely club we do belong to. A great
mix of people with a common love - the water and sailing. It has been the making of Katie, who is
now fingers crossed off to study a L3 BTEC in Watersports in Sept in Hove and her sights are on
continuing that at Swansea Uni after.
I very much look forward to the stage when restrictions are lifted, that this difficult time is behind
us and normality can resume, even if we do stand 2m apart...
If that coincides with the nice weather of the summer/autumn, let’s have a great drink and nibbles
on the rear lawn all together after an afternoon sailing and watch that sun set over the water and
really appreciate where we live.
