Different people, different peices

There are many cities in the world worth visiting, which others aren’t. Only in The USA there are about 30 cities considered major touristic attractions. Chicago itself is one of them. But what will happen to it in the future? Will it keep its unique charm? For most of us, “The Windy City" will encounter a long time of economic stability.

In the future, this city will become economically powerful because of its access to the sea. We know that people will start fighting for water because it will become scarce. When this happens, Chicago will be able to apply taxes of almost any amount for accessing water. Whole enterprises will buy huge amounts of water. Also, being a portuary city, sea brings huge amounts of income because of two things. First, water means a direct mean of transport for travelling or exportation. Second, Chicago possesses access to all aquatic resources: fish capable of giving out a ton of chemicals useful for many purposes, petrol and water itself. Both of this may decrease in quantity once water becomes scarce, these resources may lower in quantity, but they will be more expensive, which brings a huge economic benefit.

Whatsmore, this marvellous city counts with the capacity of holding a great amount of population. This it drags business towards Chicago. Many technologic innovations are being designed within its offices. In my opinion, Chicago will become the technological capital of, at least, the USA. Studies show that about 67% of USA’s technology developing, innovating and producing enterprises locate their HQs within its metropolitan area. People all around the world invest money in these. Many innovative inventions have come to light recently. USA Today posted an article about a discovery of a material which had many interesting qualities, such as its incredible resistance, and that this material was being implemented into armorial studies having their addresses in Chicago. This and many other examples lead us to believe that this city will naturally become a technological power.
