Chase The Panic! / March 2014 23

From my time in a band, not once did money motivate me to keep making music and gigging and providing fans with what they want to hear and see. Its that feeling of success and when the momentum starts rolling and knowing that your music is making a difference to people’s lives.

That’s what a musician should write and make music for, not money.

But then it is also good to get the music out there by any means

necessary and if I can’t afford a CD then chances are im going to download it, because I am a fan.

I want to listen to their music and appreciate it for what it is, but I cant do that if I feel its too expensive to go out and buy.

Although, I do go to quite a few gigs and artists I have discovered, a couple from downloading music, I have been to see and bought their merchandise. It works both ways really.

Thanks for your time and answers, hope your music career goes well, have you got any gigs upcoming?

Rob – Thank you very much for inviting me, it’s been a pleasure to chat! No not at the moment, hopefully sometime soon in the near future.
