Mindful spending

Just because I want it doesn't mean I should buy it.

To me, mindful spending means really taking into consideration where and how something is made.

It's less about the cost to me and more about the cost to the people who made it or the cost to our planet in terms of resources.

I choose to always consider the cost of my spending and the effects it has beyond my pocketbook.

Saying now to what shouldn't wait until later

There is no reason to wait to say I love you, and yet we do it, or even worse forget to say it all together.

The worst thing in the word is waiting until it's too late.

This is my year to over-do the I love you's.

5

Really listening

Nothing demonstrates lack of love faster than failing to listen.

Listening is the kind of gift money just can't buy. It's the gift of not only being heard, but also truly seen.

Look for the beauty in everyone, everywhere

I vow

I vow to remember being a lover isn't about loving one special person.

It's about loving everyone because everyone is special.
