Niners have been fortunate , continue to enjoy golf season
We have been so fortunate that in spite of our pandemic , the Niners continue to enjoy the season . With 46 participants , we
HARTLAUB played the Tournament of Champions on two consecutive Tuesdays , Aug . 11 and 18 . It was then celebrated with an award ceremony to toast the winners in the new Pavilion Aug . 25 . The attendance was limited to 25 people in compliance to COVID-19 restrictions and attendees had their own BYOB glasses ! Debby Stonebreaker , our scoring chair , made presentations . A special award was presented by Mary Fieweger to Karen Siegel : 2020 Water Champion for falling into the water on Green # 9 !

New members
Wendy Burton joins us with enthusiasm and excitement for the game ! Wendy and her husband live in Lake Oswego , and she works as a fitness instructor for the Park and Recreation Department there . Encouraged by her husband to join the Niners , Wendy feels that it has been a good fit . Feeling very welcomed , she appreciates the hints and help that she receives in understanding the golf rules and the club guidelines .
Erika Stevens , originally from Berlin , has been in the states for fifty years .

She lives in Woodburn with her husband and three children . A retired nurse , she now looks forward to working on her game of golf , meeting new members and having fun .
Mary Murphy has moved from Southern California two years ago , and she travels between there and Oregon . Also retired , she enjoys meeting new people and having fun on the course .
