A season of change — transition is all around us

Hello neighbors ,
The year 2020 has been a year of major change for all of us . I am happy to report that there are many changes here on the Charbonneau campus .
BROUILLETTE Let me update you on just a couple : The merger of Charbonneau Country
Club and Charbonneau Golf Club
� Registered as complete with the State of Oregon June 18 , 2020
� Approved with a landslide vote of 316 to 6
� Shareholder payouts are virtually complete
� Charbonneau Country Club is sole shareholder
� Charbonneau Golf Club Board of Directors continue to govern
� OB Sports continues to manage
The pavilion — The project that launched a partnership
� A 3,300 square foot cover built over the patio terrace
� Designed by Waterleaf Architecture , built by Milroy Golf Systems
� An investment made by the Golf Club in exchange for a 30-year license to use any of the current CCC facilities
� Ideal for weddings , celebrations , tournaments , parties , events
� Available to Charbonneau residents and public use by reservation

� Golf is open and available
� Please observe social distancing and face covering requirements
� Reserve your tee times early ... we are very busy

What are you doing to be safe and yet not excessively isolated ? Can connecting in a safe way with other women in your immediate neighborhood provide some fun interaction ? When the outdoor weather is less agreeable , then covered patios and garages can be used for safe social times with distancing .
Our program chairs are busily working on getting interesting , entertaining and educational presentations lined up for the following months ; these will be

October ’ s CWA event will be on the KonMari Method of organization , giving us ways to tackle in a positive way those closets , drawers and shelves of “ stuff ” that we have in our homes . Kadra Pixton , a consultant in our region , will do her presentation live and will accept audience questions to be answered at the end of the presentation .

Place the form in an envelope addressed to Lindy Anderson along with $ 20 dues for the year ( covers August 2020 through June 2021 ).
