Library schedule changes due to pandemic

Hello library fans !

Well , last month when our library policies and hours had finally settled into a comfortable groove , we decided it was safe to publicize them far and wide . You know what they say about the best-laid plans ! Due to the unfortunate spike in COV- ID-19 cases throughout Oregon , Gov . Kate Brown ’ s most recent orders have thrown a wrench into our previous schedule , which is now all changed . So here are our new hours and policies , which hopefully will also be superseded in the coming year by the return of our regular hours , regular policies , and regular services ! We ’ re hoping to see you there !

But for now , here ’ s what we ’ ve got :
Our new , new hours ( changed since last month )
 We are open on Tuesdays , Thursdays , Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a . m . to 3 p . m .
 We are open on Wednesdays from 3-7 p . m .
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays .
Our building is available for short visits during our open hours for you to pick up your holds , or choose one of our book bundles . You can also make materials requests ( we ’ d be glad to grab books off our shelves for you on the spot ).
We can answer simple reference questions ( or call you back with answers to more complicated ones ).
We can issue you a regular card , or an e-card ( for online services ). The latter is available online to those living in Clackamas County , who don ’ t already have a regular library card .
We can scan , photocopy or fax your documents for you , free of charge ( but be reasonable , please ). We can also print your documents — just email them to us at print @ wilsonvillelibrary . org from within or outside our building . Be sure to let us know when you ’ re coming in to pick them up .
All kinds of e-books and e-audiobooks are available via our two online services , CloudLibrary and Overdrive ( aka Library2Go ). If you haven ’ t yet tried them , what are you waiting for ?
We have so many wonderful programs for children and adults available via online Zoom meetings . Check out our website for a complete list . And , if you ’ re not sure how to use Zoom , give us a call , and we ’ ll try to walk you through it .
And , here ’ s what we can ’ t yet do :
No public computers are available , as we are trying to keep visits short . ( But we can still print — see above ).
No notary services are available , for just the same reason .
You are as yet unable to browse the library ’ s shelves , because any of our materials that have been touched are quarantined for 48 hours to help keep you safe .
We cannot accept donations immediately , although our Friends of the Library group does schedule frequent donation events . Call us to find out if one of them is coming soon .
We aren ’ t charging library overdue fines yet , at least through the end of the year . Now is the time to return any late materials and avoid the charges !
Please check out our website or give us a call to find out more . We miss you , and hope that 2021 will be a far better year for us all .
