Charbonneau Arts Association volunteers are still basking in the glow of an exceptional live event that encompassed the entire Charbonneau Country Club Village Center campus on June 3-5 . After going virtual in 2020 , and postponing 2021 from November to June , being able to return to a live event , with an opening night reception and expanded display space for artisan vendors and gallery artists , was a thrill . With the addition of the music stage , Jazz @ Charbonneau , another dimension was added for a festival within a festival .
Back in October , when a spike in COVID-19 cases inspired the board to postpone the festival from November to June , festival organizing chair John McLain set out his goals for the festival . Those goals were met in every category . With the addition of the new Activities Center and promised better weather from fall to late spring that would allow the use of the pavilion for a music stage , the new dates created more opportunities for the organizers .
