There has been a whirlwind of activity here in Charbonneau since we moved into the new Activity Center building and held our grand opening in mid-April . There are new rooms for community meetings , new places to find supplies , even new faces greeting us as we enter the building . We are currently undergoing a reorganization of how we carry out our daily duties in the Activity Center . We ’ ve had a few bumps in the road and are working on setting new procedural guidelines to assure that everything goes smoothly . Our goal is to assure that all residents and facility users enjoy a successful event or encounter each time they utilize any of the available services and amenities in Charbonneau . A small group of resident-volunteers have begun working with staff to streamline operations and organize supplies and equipment .

The Revolving Door of Life Insurance policies .... Lately
Recently , our firm , Comprehensive Life Settlement Solutions , ( www . clss . life ) has experienced a revolving door of clients seeking to increase their life insurance portfolio of guaranteed value because of increasing concerns about the risks of periodic and unexpected outbreaks of pandemic circumstances . Others are buying new policies because the expected rise in inflation reduces the purchasing power or value of their assets . And lastly , some feel that the stock market and other market sensitive investments might face a bubble burst as seen in 2008-2009 .
By contrast , with clients OVER age 70 , we are helping them appraise their insurance policies to DETERMINE true value and to AVOID the risk of early lapse . Often , due to reduced interest crediting many universal life and / or term policies , are at significant risk . Universal life and some variable life policies are also seeing increasing

Clients with renewable term insurance and even certain guaranteed life policys are also investigating the benefit of a life settlement approach . Other reasons cited in recent financial publications regarding insurance company strength , include , rising inflation and unexpected lower performance results . The continuing effect of pandemic based death claims and interest rates on insurance company returns are also often cited .. Finally , our senior clients may find that the original PURPOSE of their insurance purchase no longer exists . Among the reasons clients cite and may choose to MONETIZE their policy are medical expenses , retirement income , charitable donations , or new investment opportunities .
