New changes will appear in the tennis community
Charbonneau is moving into the future ! So many changes !
We are looking forward to a new year , new programs and the in-
GRAY troduction of pickleball .
Steve Hall , the tennis club manager , has retired after 16 years of dedicated leadership and handed the reins to Kathi Gray at his retirement party on Oct . 30 .
As we move forward , we are still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic .
Unfortunately , since virus cases are not going in the right direction , the
like you or I would do in our own businesses or personal situations . And yes , your board will continue to use stringent due diligence in studying , planning and approving each project .
The $ 4 assessment increase for the Operations Fund is largely COVID-19 driven , including current and projected increases in janitorial / sanitization costs and current and predicted loss of revenue in the Clubhouse , the Fitness Center and the Tennis Center . Along with related Insurance increases , these costs make up about $ 2.50 of the $ 4 amount . The balance is attributed to normal inflationary costs .
Adding this major “ Financial Plank ” to our Capital Improvement Fund was either enabled by ( extended financial analysis ) or will enable completion of most of your board ’ s 2020- 2021 Goals / Priorities ( posted on the Charbonneau Country Club website ).
We are doing the work . We are improving our systems . And we are transforming our community one careful and deliberate step at a time .
