We have been busy with fun events like the Partners Competition

Now that summer is off and running - so is CWGA ! The Partners Competition was held June 16 and included 54 players . The first place gross score team was Alex Carney and Susie Taylor . The first place net score teams that tied were : Sue Weakley and Karen Miller along with Kristine Jones and Coleen Larson . The July Scramble was well attended also - 58 players ! There was a tie for first place : Diane Meyers , Linda Owen , Kristine Jones , Lou Moultrie and Laura Curran , Rose Mason , Deborah Ulrich , Sheryl Huiras . Congrats to all of them !
Mid-month was the handicap competition - a two-day affair with opportunities for anyone to win . Unfortunately , when we submitted this article , the results weren ’ t in . HOA spotlight : Arbor Lake Townhome Association

Arbor Lake Townhome Association is the largest HOA in Charbonneau , serving 258 homes . The majority of the homes are along Arbor Lake Drive , Old Farm Road , Arbor Glen Loop , Arbor Glen Court , East Lake Point , East Lake Court , Village Crest Lane and Lake Bluff Court . There are also several

Don ’ t forget the fun in August . Be sure your calendar is marked for a very special day and evening on Aug . 4 . Lemon Drops and Flip Flops are the combo for the day . You won ’ t want to miss this tasty , tart event complete with a putting contest and more .
On the golf course , you may have noticed the “ new ” tee boxes on Red 5 and Yellow 7 . These are going to be used for holiday tournaments and for junior events . The “ regular ” tees will continue to be used for day play .
Upcoming dates to remember : The Club Championship Competition will be played Aug . 25-26 and the September Scramble on Sept . 1 will include lunch and a general meeting where the new slate of officers will be presented . The Nominating Committee of Laurie Bales , Terry Borst , Christy Lynch , Jean Czubin and Laura Noffke are happy to add any names of interested members for next year ’ s CWGA board . Please feel free to contact them .
There ’ s lots of play time in our future . ( Be sure you ’ ve played enough to qualify to play in the Club Championship ). Hope to see you on the course !

ALTA has four pools : Arbor Lake , East Lake , Village Crest and Old Farm . Residents in ALTA may use any of these four pools . Each home is issued one pool key which will open all four pool gates . The pools open on Memorial Day weekend and close around Labor Day although the closures are staggered and sometimes extended , weather permitting .
The HOA property manager is Katie Griffith . Katie is an independent contractor who has served as the
