Rozenboom took over the mantle as the No. 1 for the Pella boys tennis squad this spring. Rozenboom would qualify for state as an individual where he would pick up a 6-1, 6-4 first round victory to advance to the quarterfinals where he would fall to eventual state runner-up Ethan Moon of North Polk. Then in his consolation match, he would come up short in a super tiebreaker. Rozenboom also helped lead the Dutch to the state quarterfinals as a team.

Shaffer was No. 2 for the Dutch and also grabbed himself a spot at the individual state tournament in Waterloo. Shaffer also got a tough first draw falling to eventual state champion Charlie LeGrand of Xavier before also falling in his first consolation match. Shaffer was also a big piece that helped the Dutch get to the state quarterfinals as a team.

Luo returned to the Class 1A boys state tennis tournament, leading the Trojans to a 14-1 record as a team and a spot in the substate finals. Luo won a second straight district singles championship, winning his first 13 matches as the No. 1 singles player for Fairfield nearly advancing to the Class 1A state semifinals ultimately finishing sixth in the state singles tournament for the second straight year.
