Troy’s previous experience as Sales
Steve Vaughn was born &
from Emporia High School.

Vektek to open their door to him. He joined Vektek in 1998 as Sales
Manager for the United States. He quickly expanded his sales to
Canada, South America and started Vektek operations with India.
In 2005, Troy was promoted to Vice President of Sales. While
expanding sales and marketing, he worked in a variety of executive
and functional roles in the manufacturing process and product line
development. Two years later he was appointed as President of
Vektek for his capabilities to lead.
Troy Estes graduated from Emporia High School in 1984.
He acquired an FCC license through the electronics program at
Flint Hills Technical College and pursued the business program
at Emporia State University. He later took integral leadership
programs at the University of Notre Dame
Troy’s motivated work ethic was instilled while working in the
family business while growing up. Understanding the level of
dedication and responsibility to help others succeed is the root of his
success.
Troy supports many charitable groups and organizations. He is a
board member of the Boy Scouts of America, Jayhawk Area Council
and also serves on the Flint Hills Technical College Foundation
Board.
As a family man for twenty five years, Troy enjoys spending time
with his wife, Tara, daughter Rylee and son Hunter.
