I am happy that I had past my fear of the proclaimed “horrible” tasting food, and despite the different reviews of the dish, I had completed my goal of trying different foods. I would undeniably recommend escargot to many people and especially I would recommend the restaurant that we had tried it from because of the amazing service. Trying escargot was a completely different and memorable experience with my best friends sharing the feast right by my side."
The dish rested in the escargot’s shells in a pesto and garlic sauce with just the right amount of oil, as the unexpected appetizer was actually quite satisfying. The overall taste was surprisingly good, as it had just tasted as if it was a mushroom, which was also very surprising because it had tasted like a meal that I have had many times before.
