"Today I had tried a type of food that would be very normal to the France community, but very different to my normal eating habits. I had forced myself to eat escargot. The thought of escargot was very displeasing and unsatisfying, although the result of the popular food dish was very unexpected. I had sat down for lunch at a pizzeria with my group of close friends as we had previously planned to indulge in a typical pizza, although, we had saw that there was an option of escargot for an appetizer, and we couldn’t say no. Our goal in France was to try different foods and escargot was on the top of that list; so in spite of our pizza craving, we had to set that aside to check off an important goal from our list.
