Timing and communication

Approximately three months prior to the big day the search should have started. Appropriate places obviously include wedding departments, speciality stores and, of course, bridal shops too. Plus, the mother of the groom should have started searching for her outfit and that will give some excellent direction and possibly ideas on colours, styles and themes to follow.

If you're close the bride, mother of the bride and mother of the groom can search for outfits together. That will ensure there'll be no awkward matching outfits or, even worse, the same outfit!

The most important thing of all is to enjoy the day for yourself – and let your outfit reflect your own personal style!
