How long have you been in business?

Buns and Roses launched in May of this year! So this is the very start of our journey, and we are so happy with the response we have received so far!

How did you get into the industry?

Lisa has been running her own celebration cake business for four years. A move into the wedding industry has been a natural decision, as it allows her to combine her passion for making stunning cakes with her love for all things wedding!

Katie created her own wedding flowers 6 years ago, and many family and friends’ wedding flowers since then (including Lisa’s in 2013). Katie decided to develop her passion for flowers into a career, and has trained in flower arranging.

What makes you different from all the rest?

Our uniqueness is that we can offer the bride both wedding cakes and flowers – a one stop shop if you like! Arranging weddings, while enjoyable, can be stressful and time consuming. We have had a really positive response from brides who find booking both their cake and flowers with one supplier is much simpler. In addition to the practical side, we are a two person team, both bringing enthusiasm to each wedding we work on. We both love weddings so much, and enjoy working with each and every bride, helping to create a wedding day that is personal and magical.

What inspires you?

As we are creating cakes and flowers for individuals, the bride's own style and ideas is a major source of inspiration for us, and we take our lead from them. Even those brides who don't have a clear vision of their wedding will always have preferences on colours, size and how extravagant they want to be!

Another massive inspiration source has to be Pinterest; there are ideas on there for just about every setting, colour scheme, theme you can think of.
