Sunday morning , the Bethel Cathedral AME Church , Rev . Dr . Carlos Perkins , Pastor , was the site of an uplifting Sister Soar Worship Service . Our Central Region Chaplain , Rev . Traci Blackmon , Associate General Minister of Justice , and Local Church Ministries for the United Church of Christ led the service . It featured the preached Word by Rev . Allison M . Henderson-Brooks , Assistant Dean of Students at Candler School of Theology . The weekend concluded with brunch and fellowship at Daniel ’ s Vineyard in Geist .
