The Central Region Health and Wellness Committee is providing some sisterly reminders to enhance both your mental and physical wellness . The holidays are fast approaching and we know everyone is busy . You have a lot on your plate but remember to prioritize your wellbeing !

Burnout is a result of chronic stress that has not been successfully managed .
• Loss of motivation
• Moodiness / irritability
• Withdrawing from your support system
BREAST CANCER REMINDERS
• Breast Self-Exam : Monthly exam . Check for any changes . Try in the shower .
• Mammograms : For women over 40 , but check with your doctor if your family has a history of breast cancer
• Remind a Friend : We help each other ! Remind women in your life to self-check . Invite someone along for a mammogram .
CONNECT WITH SORORS
Coffee breaks , pumpkin patch , get your nails done , movie night , game night , take a walk !

• Exercise : Studies show that physical activity increases your mental wellness . Make sure you ’ re doing at least 30 minutes a day . Do what you enjoy ! Swim , dance , try something new !

During this busy season , keep your immune system boosted by trying this homemade medicine ball ! Jade citrus mint green tea , peach tranquility herbal tea , hot water , steamed lemonade and honey . Add peppermint or whisky for a kick !
