EMORY FOLMAR YMCA SOCCER COMPLEX UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS
The City of Millbrook and the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Grandview Plaza , anchored by Publix , located at the southwest corner of Kelley Boulevard and Alabama Hwy 14 . Grandview Plaza is planned to be completed in 2024 and will bring growth , jobs and overall economic development to Elmore County .
MAX CREDIT UNION NAMED A BEST CREDIT UNION TO WORK FOR IN THE NATION TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS
MAX Credit Union has once again been recognized by American Banker as one of the 2023 Best Credit Unions to Work For in the nation , which is an awards program designed to identify , recognize and honor the best credit unions nationwide and is comprised of seventy credit unions . This is the second consecutive year MAX has received this honor .
The Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex is making major renovations with plans to include eight lighted , regulation soccer fields , two championship stadium fields , seating for 4,000 , a new press box , concessions and restrooms . The new facilities are expected to expand the organization ’ s programs and draw more tournaments to the River Region .
