MMFA PRESENTING DEAI EXHIBIT AND LECTURES
As part of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts ’ three-year Institute of Museum and Library Services-funded diversity , equity , accessibility and inclusion ( DEAI ) initiative , the museum is presenting “ The Hard Truth : Representation and the Arts ,” a four-part exhibition and lecture series . This year-long series will engage the complex topics related to DEAI — raising awareness for these issues in the museum field while allowing the MMFA to reflect on its own journey . Each installation , curated by Museum Empowered Fellow Savannah Shaon , consists of works from the Museum ’ s permanent collection that provide a lens through which viewers can contextualize the topics and issues related to DEAI . The accompanying lectures will elevate community voices and help illuminate a path toward becoming a more welcoming and inclusive community institution .

Stamp Idea Group took home 11 awards from the 20th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards ( SIAA ). The firm won seven Gold Awards , two Silver Awards and two Bronze Awards . Stamp ’ s awards include work in 2022 created for multiple clients in the travel and tourism , healthcare and public service industries . The Service Industry Advertising Awards began in 2003 to recognize national advertising excellence from service industry providers . More than 1,500 advertising agencies and institutions from around the country participated in the 20th Annual SIAA Awards with 1,200 entries received in this year ’ s competition .
