Montgomery County Bar Foundation Board Elects Bradley Attorney Lillie Hobson
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP announced that Lillie A . Hobson , an associate in the firm ’ s Montgomery office , has been elected to serve a two-year term as a member of the Montgomery County Bar Foundation Board of Directors . Hobson recently was recognized with the Medal of the Samaritan Award for her individual contributions to the Montgomery Volunteer Lawyers Program ( MVLP ), including attending clinics and being actively involved with the District Court Lawyer for a Day dockets . She received the award at the MVLP Pro Bono Recognition Luncheon in October , where Bradley also was honored with the Gold Medallion Law Firm Award for outstanding contributions to the programs of the MVLP . A member of Bradley ’ s Litigation Practice Group , Ms . Hobson received her J . D . ( summa cum laude ) from Mississippi College School of Law and her B . A . from Judson College .

Troy University Names Retired Air Force Brig . Gen . Boutwell Senior Vice Chancellor
Retired Air Force Brigadier General Richard H . Boutwell , a 1991 Troy University alumnus , has been named the University ’ s Senior Vice Chancellor for Advancement . His new role includes responsibility for governmental relations , development / alumni affairs , public affairs and strategic oversight of the University ’ s relationship with all branches of the military services . A native of Greenville , Ala ., Boutwell succeeds Maj . Gen . Walter Givhan , USAF ret ., in the position . Boutwell retired in 2021 after nearly 30 years in the Air Force , most recently serving as Deputy Commanding General of the Fifteenth Air Force where he led the largest Department of Defense ’ s Numbered Air Forces , comprising over 47,000 employees and $ 600 billion in the USAF ’ s most advanced weapons systems .
